The Korea Foundation for Advanced Studies maintains a research library with
its own collection of books, periodicals, working papers, and references materials
that aid scholars and scholarship awardees in their research activities. The Korea
Foundation for Advanced Studies Library provides scholars and students with
library materials of research value. The KFAS Library collects books, academic
journals, working research papers, dissertations, and academic program bulletins/detailed
course descriptions of major research universities in the United States
and other countries. The Korea Foundation for Advanced Studies Library holds
approximately 30,000 volumes of academic books and subscribes to over 650 titles
of significant academic journals. The Library collection is arranged in accordance
with the Dewey decimal classification system. The Library also adopts an open-stack system.
It occupies the first three floors of the KFAS building which is located
in downtown, Seoul.
